Without any doubt, this nation & world are in desperate need of fervent prayer .. All signs point to an imminent explosion of the social fabric of our collective societies .. Everywhere one looks, there is some sort of violence, division & chaos, which is leading to a collective world-wide epidemic of depression amongst the populace ..
Of course most of you know I truly believe we are in the final moments of this age, where we will soon see a globalist takeover of all societies .. This form of government will be socialist in nature with one leader calling all the shots, not to mention that it will godless, until this leader decides that he is god .. Of course, I’m speaking of the anti-christ which will rule for the final 7 years before Christ’s return ..
So why pray? .. Hasn’t it all been laid out & decided? .. I’m glad you asked! .. The answer is yes, it has all been laid out in the Bible as to what will now, & soon take place .. But here’s the one thing we don’t know for sure, & that is ‘exactly when’ .. Jesus Himself said that no man will know the day or hour of His victorious return .. & this is WHY we need to pray! .. There are still many folks out there that have a chance to accept Him & spend eternity with Him! .. Oh, how so much better that the alternative ..
So what about America? .. Needless to say, it is leading the pack in self-destruction as we speak! ..
Rioting in the streets, deep division, surges in killings & assaults, crazy weather, & on & on .. & why is this happening to this once-Christian nation? .. Because it is no longer a Christian nation! .. Look around! .. Churches are shutting down, state & local laws are forcing Christians to accept the current debauchery that is taking over the complete societal landscape .. & what does the Bible say about what happens when a nation/society does this .. Cease & desist! .. It’s over! .. Sad yes, but a historic fact ..
As for praying for our nation, I would like to share a prayer given in 2007 by Minister Joe Wright as he was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate …… Of course, everyone expected to hear the usual generalities, but not this day ..
“Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction & guidance .. We know your Word says, “Woe to those who call evil good,” but that is exactly what we have done.
*We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values ..
*We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery ..
*We have rewarded laziness, and called it welfare ..
*We have killed our unborn, and called it choice ..
*We have shot abortionists, and called it justifiable ..
*We have neglected to discipline our children, and called it building self esteem ..
*We have abused power, and called it politics ..
*We have coveted our neighbor’s possessions, and called it ambition ..
*We have polluted the air with profanity & pornography, and called it freedom of speech &
expression ..
*We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers, and called it enlightenment ..
Search us O’ God, and know our hearts today .. Cleanse us from every sin and set us free!” .. Amen
Needless to say, the response was immediate! .. A large number of legislators got up & walked out during the prayer in protest! .. (I’m shocked! .. but not really) .. And now we wonder what & why everything all around us is falling apart? .. Simply because most of us have also ‘gotten up & walked out’ on God .. Hence, a rapidly decaying & dying nation ..
So now, with the unknown, but obviously short time we have left, I want to leave you today with this prayer, and a hope that you listen with an open heart .. God loves every one of us & is waiting for us! .. All we have to do is ASK!!! .. Here’s the prayer, a call to salvation ..
“One heartbeat – That’s it! .. That’s all!
You’re only one heartbeat away from eternity ..
Everything you have – your life, your breath, this moment .. It all ends with a heartbeat - & then
there is no more time ..
One heartbeat, and the chance to be saved is gone ..
One heartbeat, & there is no more choosing ..
It’s all sealed for eternal life or eternal death ..
The only thing we can be sure of is that it will come , & the only time we can be sure of is now –
RIGHT NOW!”
