Romans 16:17-18 It is simply amazing to watch & observe just how fast our nation is succumbing to the 'sinful ways of man.' .. It seems that of late, almost every facet of our way of life is experiencing changes that are completely contrary to what we once thought of as 'normal.' .. Of course, this is nothing new to those of us who pay attention to what is going on around us. .. But what has gotten me so stirred up this week is this rampant onslaught of this 'gender-neutral' campaign that is taking place right before our eyes. .. I mean it is all over the news every single day now! .. Let's for a moment take just a quick glance at what is going on in North Carolina. .. This state is under total attack by the likes of most all big business as well as the entertainment & professional sports programs .. and why? .. Because they want men to use the men's bathrooms & women to use women's bathrooms! .. Gee! .. How rude of them! ... The following are just some of the news headlines from the past couple of days regarding this issue .....    *Springsteen, others cancel concert dates in North Carolina ..    *NBA Gets Political - Tells Charlotte to lose LGBT Law or Lose All-Star Game ..    *Britain Issues Warning for LGBT Travelers Visiting North Carolina & Mississippi    *North Carolina in Shock as Porn Sites Blocked Over LGBT Law ..    *Several Large Retail Companies threaten to Pull Out of North Carolina due to      LGBT Law .. (Note:  These same companies & entertainers who are boycotting this state have no problem doing business or entertaining in places that behead & torture homosexuals) ... I mean the list goes on & on ... And here are just a few more related headlines just this week ..    *North Carolina Governor says 'LGBT Movement may be the strongest      lobby group is U.S ..    *Another Caves - Louisiana Governor rescinds Religious Liberty Order ..    *Court Rulings Concerning 'Gay Issues' nearly 100 Percent in support of LGBT      Agenda ..    *Most all Major Corporations As Well As Hollywood Support LGBT Agenda ..    *Corporations on Transgenderism: Normalize the Bazaar ..    *Tennessee Bill To Keep Men Out of Women's Restrooms Dies ..    *Georgia Dumps Doctor Over Church Sermons - Claim His Position On      Homosexuality is Discriminatory ..    *ESPN Fires Analyst Curt Schilling Over His Anti-Transgender Remarks ..    *Target Latest Retailer Giant to Eliminate 'Gender Identity' in Public Bathrooms    *Civil Rights Commission says North Carolina Bathroom Law 'Jeopardizes      Physical Safety' of Transgender People .. OK .. Enough already! .. I mean this 'LGBT' stuff seems to all of a sudden dominate our lives! .. Everywhere you turn, there it is! .. And again, as I stated at the outset, this has come upon us in rapid fashion. ..  I will use my own life as an example of what I mean .. (Story time! .. Aren't you thrilled?) .. It wasn't that many years ago that I was in the military & first exposed to this 'way of life.' .. I was basically a sheltered kid from a then small town in Oregon. .. I'd never heard of the LGBT stuff and, after boot camp in San Diego, was transferred to Naval schooling in San Francisco. .. It was there that I first came into contact with 'this way of life.' .. I must admit I was shocked! .. I mean, how could people even consider such a thing! .. Again, that wasn't that many years ago, and look around now? .. It seems every attempt is being made to make it the 'normal' way of life ... and if you disagree? .. You become a pariah & are labeled as a 'judgmental hater' ... Which brings me to my next rant! .. How is it that those who generally support these types of things are always pushing for 'equality, diversity & fairness'  and all the other buzz words that goes with it, but if I happen to disagree? .. All that equality stuff goes out the window. .. The new movement is something like this .. 'agree with me and all is good and fair .. but if not, then you are a hater and are a threat to our new gender-neutral way of life' .. Simply, In the minds of the new progressives, it's 'their way or the highway.' .. I'm now 'old-fashioned' and a relic of the past. ... And now the next rant! .. More & more of our churches are joining in with this scripturally perverse way of life! .. I mean large denominations like the United Methodists, United Presbyterians, and the Episcopalians are already there and many more are considering it as we speak. .. Much of the teachings from the pulpits today are endorsing these lifestyles as the 'new normal' .. that as society evolves, so, too, the Church must evolve with it. .. While this is good for their numbers & collection plates, it's dead wrong when it comes to the scriptures they claim to support! .. Let me share just one with you right here ... "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God?  Do not be deceived:  Neither the sexually immoral nor idolators nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." .. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 .. Now I realize that there is a whole list of sinful lifestyles mentioned here, and it is clear that this issue of homosexuality is one of them. .. No matter how you look at it, it IS NOT an acceptable way of life in the eyes of God! .. Oh, and by the way, there are some 20+ scriptures in the New Testament alone that directly address this issue of sexual perversion. .. I know I say this a lot .. and yes, societies do evolve, but God's Word never changes. .. Societies at times may feel uncomfortable with parts of what the Bible teaches, but it doesn't give it the right to alter or re-write what it teaches, just because it 'doesn't work' for certain segments of society. ... None of us knows for sure just how long our nation can go on living this way, but I do know this .. God's judgement WILL come upon this land if there isn't a sudden about-face in our moral values. .. Every society throughout history that has endorsed these kinds of lifestyles have fallen away. .. They have ceased to exist!  .. Is America any different? .. Do we get to do it our way, regardless of our Creator's laws? .. Are we the exception? .. Sorry, but no ...... Maybe to some I am a dinosaur in today's world, but is it wrong for me NOT to want my wife or daughters to be in the same bathroom with some confused man? .. And if I feel this way I'm considered an obstruction to the new way of life that is being forced upon me? ........ But then, I should not be surprised by all this ... Doesn't God tell us that it will be this way in the end times? .. Well folks, here it is! ... The world is getting darker & darker by the moment, and yes, it is becoming more & more difficult to follow what the Bible teaches, but I want each of you to remember this .... The Bible gives us the ONLY hope in this rapidly dying world. .. Jesus Christ IS the ONLY answer to any & all of our problems. ... "This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you:  God is light;  in Him there is no darkness at all.  If we claim to have fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth.  But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin." ... 1 John 1:5-7 .. Hallelujah! ... He is the light of the world! .. To walk in darkness is the choice of those who choose sin over righteousness. .. He is the hope. .. You are not alone. .. Again, hallelujah! ...
