A Painful Passing

In last week's news, I ran across an article from the Wall Street Journal that I promised to elaborate on this week ... so here it is. ... First, the article said this ... "Obamacare: A disaster like no other" --  Then the following comments ... "7.1 million have signed up -- but 6 million lost their coverage and were forced onto the exchanges. ..

That's no triumph -- that's manipulation!" .... and another ... "I don't know why we're not having a revolution!"

Now, at about the same time this article hit, a Christian sister handed me this very interesting piece, which explains much of what is taking place right now in our country, and certainly puts some light on the 'Journal' story I just shared with you .... Here it is ....

"Who was Saul Alinsky? ..... Recall that Hillary Clinton wrote her college thesis on his writings and Barak Hussein Obama writes about him in his books. .....

"Saul Alinsky died about 42 years ago, but his writings influenced those in political control of our nation today. ... Who was he? ... He was a writer and an American community organizer. .. He is generally considered to be the Communist radical, socialist founder of the modern community organizing movement. .. He is most noted for his book 'Rules for Radicals' ... His other book was entitled 'Reveille for Radicals' ...

"Anyone out there think that this stuff isn't happening  today in the U.S.? ... In case you hadn't noticed, all eight rules are currently in play. .. Can we turn around eight socialist Communist state agendas that have been insidiously injected into our culture? ... Here they are ....

"How to create a Communist socialist state by Saul Alinsky:

   1) Healthcare:  Control healthcare and you control the people.

   2) Poverty:  Increase the poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight

        back if you are providing everything for them to live.

   3) Debt:  Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. .. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.

   4)  Gun Control:  Remove the ability to defend themselves from the government.  That way you are able to create 

         a police state.

   5) Welfare:  Take control of every aspect of their lives (food, housing, and income).

   6)  Education:  Take control of what people read and listen to. .. Take control of what children learn in school.

   7)  Religion:  Remove the belief in God from the government and schools.

   8)  Class Warfare:  Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. .. This will cause more discontent and it will 

         be easier to take (tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor.

"Does any of this sound like what is happening to the United States? .. It should! .. It is the method of operation of those in power today. .... Alinsky merely simplified Vladimir Lenin's original scheme for world conquest by Communism, under Russian rule. .. Stalin described his converts as 'useful idiots.' .. The Useful Idiots have destroyed every nation in which they have seized power and control. .. It is presently happening at an alarming rate in the U.S. .. It may be too late to reverse the decline."

To be honest, I don't know who the actual author of this article is, but it IS amazing as to how these eight mentioned items are taking place in our nation today. ... One has to admit that there has been an amazing change in our society since this 'mentality' came to power ... and sadly, at least right now, the heir-apparent, Hillary Clinton, seems to be the front-runner in all the polls.

So why do I bring this to you, and how does it fit into the overall prophetic picture? ... Those who are aware of my thinking know that I am not political. .. Do be so impairs one's ability to view Biblical teachings with 'clear eyes.' .. This is what I believe. ... A world government is coming, and is 'just around the corner.'  ... In order for that to be possible, there can be NO super-power on the world scene. ... As America fades 'back into the pack' of nations, and the economic conditions continue to deteriorate, the opportunity for a new world leader will be greatly enhanced ... one who will step forward and appear to have all the answers for a world that has fallen into complete and utter despair. ... An existing super-power would not let this happen. .....

Look at some other thoughts for a moment. ... Five years after the close of World War ll, Winston Churchill declared in a speech in Copenhagen,  "Unless some effective world super-government can be brought quickly into action, the proposals for peace and human progress are dark and doubtful." ..... In the early 1960s, noted nuclear physicist Edward Teller, who helped develop the hydrogen bomb, warned,  "We must work for the establishment of a world authority sustained by moral and physical force - a world government capable of enforcing worldwide law."

Since then, an unprecedented number of international and regional bodies of all shapes and sizes - political and financial institutions, aid organizations, non-government organizations, judicial institutions - have emerged to play a role in global affairs. .. Today we have the Nuclear Energy Agency, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the International Chamber of Commerce, the G-8 and G-20, the Commonwealth, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, the Council of Europe, Greenpeace, Freedom House, Amnesty International, and the list goes on and on .......

And of course, we have the United Nations. .. Despite its 60-year track record of malfunction and failure, the UN Commission on Global Governance in 1995 recommended far-reaching changes for the UN, including a system of global taxation, a standing UN army, an international criminal court, expanded authority for the secretary-general, and the formation of a world parliament, among other things. ...... So far, only the court has been created - 1998. .... But take the super-power out of the way? ...........

After World War ll, the call went out from many highly esteemed people for a world government to be set up to solve mankind's problems. .. Serious-minded scientists and world leaders know that the solution to the world's ills and the establishment of world peace is possible ONLY if all nations are brought together under a supreme, all-powerful, world-ruling government! ....

Do we see and hear this mentality coming from our current  leaders? ... You bet we do! .. I've been following this stuff for a long time now, and I have never heard the words 'Globalism' & 'International Unity' as much as in just the past couple of years. ... Hating to put myself in the position of being considered a 'conspiracy theorist.'  it seems our current leadership is somehow a huge part of this mentality! ... 

It's painful to watch someone you love dying of a terminal illness. .. The same must be said of seeing a  country you love die. .. America suffers with several ills from which it will not recover. .. This reality is becoming inescapably clear. .. Is there hope? .. Is there a bright and shining future lying just over the horizon? .. Only God knows the answer to that question, but it is most certainly not to be found in any of the methods that are currently being attempted right now. ... 

The moral foundations America once embraced have largely disappeared. .. The blessings America once enjoyed have been wasted. .. America's military dominance is proving inadequate. .. Its wars are proving impossible. .. Our allies are fleeing us. .. Our enemies are provoking us! ... And then there's the epic debt we owe to China. .. Our economy is in shambles with no solutions in sight. .. Despite growing unemployment, despite ruinous private and public debt, despite whole states risking bankruptcy, despite the federal government paying its bills with nothing but printed paper, Americans keeps spending like the good times will roll on forever. .. As one commentator said, "Frugality, thrift, moderation, self-control, self-suffiency - it seems such perennially American virtues are permanently lost, buried by rank materialism and excess."

Looking at all this, one can't help but sigh and cry -- as the prophet Isaiah did in his chapter 1:4-6,  "Ah, sinful nation, a people loaded with guilt, a brood of evildoers, children given to corruption!  They have forsaken the Lord, they have spurned the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on Him.  Why should you be beaten anymore?  Why do you persist in rebellion?  Your whole head is injured, your whole heart afflicted.  From the soles of your foot to the top of your head there is no soundness - only wounds and welts and open sores, not cleansed or bandaged or soothed with oil."

There's so much more, but this is enough for now. ..I will continue to bring you as much information as I can get as we go forward in these increasingly deteriorating times. .. But remember, our hope can be placed in only ONE place, and that is in the saving grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. ... He is coming back soon .. and when He does, He will show mankind a government that WILL work ... one that will prevail for eternity! ... Hallelujah!
