Matthew 7:13-14 says, "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road
that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road
that leads to life, and only a few find it." .... This scripture certainly
applies to each of us individually, but it also can be used to describe the
destiny of nations as well ....
I've been doing this 'watchman' thing for
a long time now, and I have NEVER seen so much coming at us ... and so fast! ..
And it's not just in some areas of prophecy .. but all! .... One day .. and
soon .. we will wake up to a totally different world ... one that we will not
recognize ... one where the city streets will be on fire and the once-tranquil
suburbs in utter chaos. ....
Allow me to ramble a bit for a moment
.... Each week I pray for the Holy
Spirit to 'show me' what to share with you .. and, praise God, he never fails
me! ... As I was lying in a half-sleep two mornings ago, I was flooded with all
the goings-on that are being witnessed in our nation today. ... No, it wasn't a
dream or vision .. just the reality of all the societal insanity that I am
seeing... the obvious and incredible deception that is taking place all around
us! ... Let's review quickly .........
*Economically -- Simply put, we are bankrupt!
.. Most all who are 'alive' know that we have accumulated some $17+ Trillion in
debt. ... The only thing that keeps us afloat right now is the fact that the
U.S. dollar is still the recognized currency .. the benchmark for the world.
... Now because of this, we are the 'daddy' that calls the shots, so we can
issue any amount of credit cards, or print however much money we want, and at
just about any time... even though there is absolutely nothing to back it! ....
And then we add 'Farm Bills' and 'Obamacares' to the pile which are full of
'pork' that will only add more Trillions of dollars of debt to the already
existing pile! ..... And who's responsible? ... Any and all who participate in
the political system. ... It seems that all who do participate are under a
cloud of delusion .. like it will never end! .... Now if you question the deception here, think
of it this way. ... The majority of our elected officials are supporting all
this stuff, and they don't even read it! ..... and now that it is obvious
something is broken, they still support it! ... and why? ... Nothing other than
personal interest. ... Washington, DC and the people who live there are the
richest people in the world, and they certainly don't want to alter that
condition in any way. ... It is purely greed at all levels, with rare
exceptions. ......... Sadly, it is all going to come crashing down, because it
is built upon a foundation of sand! ... 1 Timothy 6:9 says, "People who want to get rich fall into
temptation and a trap and into many foolish desires that plunge men into ruin
and destruction." .... Tragically, these
greedy people are going to take the vast majority of the masses down with them
.... unless (more later) ....
*Spiritually/Morally -- Man, where do I
start! .. As a nation we have all but
pushed God completely out of our society. ... Then on top of that, the majority
of our citizens and leaders support lifestyles such as homosexuality that are
clearly described in the Holy Text as sin. ... Then there's the societal
justification of killing our unborn children ... abortion ... How on earth can
any human being support this type of thing?! ... It has to be the veil of
deception that has been pulled over their eyes ...... Nothing else can explain
it.
Then there's the churches. ... Describing the Laodicean Church in Revelation
3, the 7th Church, the church I believe represents today's period, Jesus said
that they had become 'lukewarm, rich and in need of nothing.' .. But then he
went on to say that because of this condition, he would "spit them out of
his mouth.".. As an example, let's look at
the article that was posted on February 9th describing the Episcopal
Church's recent moves to 'save itself' ... They are now inviting all lifestyles
into their midst so as to grow their numbers ... homosexuals, transgenders,
bisexuals, .... you know the rest ... totally selling out to remain 'relevant'
.... Then of course there's the other myriad of false doctrines such as
dominion, wealth, Mormonism ... again, you now the rest. .... I'll finish this
up with the Duck Dynasty thing. ... We all know that father Phil came out
against homosexuality and was attacked by most of the known world because of
it. ... But what I found interesting was that not one mainline Christian leader
came out in support of him ... at least not in the media I cover, which is
quite extensive. ... Guess it might damage their popularity if they did ... I
could go on for hours, but for your sakes, I'll move on ....
*Providentially -- To the point, America
is now quite obviously turning its back on the nation of Israel. ... And what
does the Bible say about what happens .. when this happens? ... Genesis 12:3
says, "I will bless those who bless
you, and whoever curses you, I will curse." .... One more ... Zechariah
12:3 states, "On that day, when all
the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an
immovable rock for all the nations. All
who try to move it will injure themselves." ............ Pretty clear ...
When we observe the current 'negotiations' going on over there, we as
Christians should be ashamed as to what this country is trying to do concerning
Israel ... like giving up its land and splitting God's Holy city! ....
Shameful! ...
If we go back in history and take a quick
peek at just a couple of examples, we can clearly see what happens when the
Jews are betrayed. ... First let's go back to the late 15th century and Spain.
.... During the Spanish Inquisition, they turned against the Jewish people
through exile, torture and murder, and as a result, soon after fell from the
world scene as a dominant nation. .... Prior to this taking place, Spain had
for centuries been a dominant power in the world. ... Since that time, they are
mired in near third-world conditions. ... As of this writing, their
unemployment numbers are near 30% and their country is in utter chaos. .... And
how about Hitler's Germany? ... We all know the story ... utter defeat with
death or prison to their leaders. ...
How did we as a nation get to where we
are? ... The moment we separated Church and State, it was the beginning of the
end. ... and now we are separating Church FROM State .... and the results will
be disastrous! ....
While we realize the prophets said these
things would happen in the final days prior to his return, it's still hard to
watch it happen! ... It's like one day we wake up and it's hear! ... But wait!
.. This is the kind of stuff that either happens to other people or the future,
or over there ..... but not here! ... Not me! ....
Revelation 3:10 says this ....
"Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you
FROM the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those
who live on the earth."
(emphasis mine) .... What does this mean?
.... Simply, it means that the true Church ... those who take seriously the
teachings of the Bible .. will be taken out of the way just prior to the Great
Tribulation that is soon to befall this nation and planet ... the Rapture. ....
However, we DO NOT know the day or hour, nor do we know just how far America
will fall before all this takes place. ... Having said that, what we must do,
no matter what, is to first strengthen ourselves in the Word of God ... meaning
the Bible only .. and then try and strengthen as many others as possible. ...
Rest assured, Jesus is coming back ... but until he does, we need to be doing
everything we can to further his teachings with what time is left. ..... We can
never weary from this task!
OK, I'm done for now. ... I thank God for
this opportunity to share with you each time, and I pray that something along
the way will help and strengthen you as we go forward in these remaining days.
... Also remember the great writings of Ephesians 6:10-18 where we are taught
to "put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against
the devil's schemes." ..... We will be victorious! ... Hallelujah!
