  -The Signs of World Politics -

To the point, there WILL be a world government in place in these end times - just before the return of our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. ... Quite simply, Bible prophecy supports this position clearly. ... Let's take a quick glance at just some of those scriptures ... Revelation 13:1-2 clearly indicates this coming world government which will be given great, but short-lived power by the Dragon - Satan himself. ... Then in the same chapter, verses 3-8, it describes the leader who will emerge on the world scene to take control of this end-time confederacy. .... In addition, Daniel 7:7-8 also describes the coming Beast with 10 horns (vs. 7) & its leader (vs. 8) ... The 10 horns are a depiction of a 10-nation or regional confederacy which will represent the body of the world government.... This, according to the majority of Bible prophecy 'watchmen,' is the reformation of the revived Roman Empire (the now-existing European Union), described in Daniel 2 as the 'legs of iron & feet & toes of iron & clay,' and Daniel 7, of which we've already touched upon. ... In addition, Daniel 7:23-24 also illustrates the 10 horns as 10 Kings who will rise up in the end of days. ... Also, you can go to Revelation 17 & 18 which gives another overview of the coming religious & political world entity of the end times. ..   As for the coming world ruler - the Anti-christ - look at Daniel 9:25-27, which shows a very good description of this end-time ruler. ... In addition, Daniel 7:24-27, Daniel 8:23-25, & Daniel 11:36-39 gives you further illustrations. ... Finally, Revelation 19:20 shows his demise. ...... There's more scripture I could share with you, but this will give you a good starting point for self-study.   So now, how will this all come about? .. Once again, the Bible prophesies a very specific end-time configuration of world politics. .. Israel is pictured as being re-established (Ezekiel 37:21-22) and is surrounded by hostile Arab neighbors intent on its destruction (Ezekiel 35:1-36:7). ... This, of course, has been the situation in the Middle East since the Israeli Declaration of Independence in May of 1948. ...   Also, Daniel prophesied in his chapter 2, that the Roman Empire would be revived (previously mentioned). ... This is something many men - like Charlemagne, Napoleon, and Hitler - have tried to do through force. .. But the prophecy had to await God's timing for its fulfillment, and that came after World War 2, with the formation of the European Common Market that has since morphed into the European Union. .. Finally, all the nations of the world are prophesied to come together against Israel in the end times over the issue of the control of Jerusalem (Zechariah 12:2-3) - a prophecy being fulfilled before our eyes today! ...   Even though the vast majority of people today are oblivious to this fact, a world government is much closer than most even fathom. ... Just look at some of the signs that indicate this ... America, the world's ONLY super-power, is declining more rapidly than ever thought possible - the world's economy is crumbling in most all quarters - wars & rumors are spreading globally - civil chaos is on the rise in many regions - global drought which is, and will continue to increase, is spreading, which will lead to mass hunger resulting in increased civil chaos - catastrophic weather conditions are being report most everywhere - moral depravity is accelerating at break-neck speed ... and more & more ..... Now, when all these things continue to increase and merge together, people of all walks of life will be looking for an answer to their increasing anxieties and desperate needs. ... Hence, the rise of a global entity that will appear to have all the answers that most desperately seek!   Something else that makes this all more of a reality is this ... most of today's world leaders are all talking about some form of global entity to oversee all the rising difficulties befalling mankind. ... And it's not just recently. ... Just five years after World War 2, Winston Churchill declared in a speech in Copenhagen, "Unless some effective world super-government can be brought quickly into action, the proposals for peace and human progress are dark and doubtful." ...... In the early 1960s, noted nuclear physicist Edward Teller, who helped develop the hydrogen bomb, warned, "We must work for the establishment of a world authority sustained by moral and physical force - a world government capable of enforcing worldwide law."   Since then, an unprecedented number of international and regional bodies of all shapes and sizes - political & financial institutions, aid organizations, non-government organizations, judicial institutions - have emerged to play a role in global affairs. ... Today we have the Nuclear Energy Agency, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the International Chamber of Commerce, G 5+1s, G 6s & G 8s, not to mention the G 20. ... Then there's the Commonwealth, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, the Council of Europe, Greenpeace, Freedom House, Amnesty International ---- and on & on from there .....   And of Course, we have the United Nations. .. Despite its 60+ year track record of malfunction and failure, the UN Commission on Global Governance in 1995 recommended far-reaching changes for the UN, including a system for global taxation, a standing UN Army, an international criminal court, expanded authority for the Secretary-General, and the formation of a world parliament, among other things. ... so far, only the court was created - in 1998. ...   Oh, and one more example ..... After World War 2, the call went out from many highly esteemed people for a world government to be set up to solve mankind's problems. .. Serious-minded scientists and world leaders know that the solution to world ills and the establishment of world peace is possible ONLY if all nations are brought together under a supreme, all-powerful, world-ruling government! ... As we've already shown, many entities have been brought forth ... yet look at this world! ... None of these so-called solutions to man's problems has had any significant impact on this world. .. In fact, in most all cases, they have only made it much worse!   In closing. I want to share a couple of 'enlightening' statements on this subject ... Concerning lack of leadership, David Buik, a commentator from England, recently stated this ... "The problem with the world is that it is void of leadership. .. The world is completely devoid of major political figureheads." ... One more ... Archbishop Cranmer made this statement in 2011 ... "We await a man of sufficient stature to hold the allegiance of all people; the one who will lift us out of the economic morass in which we are sinking. Send us such a man and, be he god or the devil, we will receive him. ... And so the plan will be perfected: the 'Germanization of Europe' will be complete; her 'destiny' fulfilled."   Wow! .. For those of us who believe that the European Union will evolve into the coming world government, this last statement is amazing. ... This Archbishop is saying exactly what will take place! ... As the world collapses financially, the people of all walks will be looking for a 'savior,' be it the devil! ... Simply, this is Bible prophecy exploding before our very eyes! ....   To sum up, I believe the world will experience massive economic upheaval in the very near future .. and I'm not talking years here! .. I'm talking days, weeks or months! ... With all that taking place, national borders will become useless ... civil chaos will rampage all across the globe .... and mankind from all walks will be desperate for ANYONE to lead them out of the worldwide morass! ... Revelation 13 tells us exactly who that will be ... a charismatic leader empowered by Satan who will emerge to 'fix' all the ills of mankind. ... But thank our great God, it will be short-lived, and the real & permanent leader, Jesus Christ will return in victory and erase all this craziness that is increasing all around us ... Hallelujah!   We need to stay strong in these final days of this age. ... And the best way to do this is to KNOW THE WORD OF GOD! ... It will sustain you in any and all trials that are left for us to endure. ... I urge each of you to study and strengthen yourself in the ONLY thing that will sustain you ... the Word of God! ...
