"And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts." .. (2 Peter 1:19) .. Starting this week, I'm introducing a new feature to 'Light in The Darkness' that will highlight weekly news stories from across the globe that relate directly to Bible prophecy. .. Each day of most every week, I spend a large amount of time perusing different world-wide news sources searching for stories that prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that we are truly living in the final days just prior to the glorious return of  Jesus Christ.. .. I'm simply going to share individual headlines that relate directly to positive proof of this fact. .. At times I will elaborate, depending of course as to how it directly connects to prophecy. .. My overall intent is give you, the listener, a brief overview of what is going on all around us as it relates to scripture. .. If you have even a basic knowledge of Biblical prophecy, which constitutes some one-third of the Bible, you, like me, will be utterly astounded as to just how fast we are careening toward the end of this age. .. As for now, it will be in podcast form only .. This will not be replacing my weekly commentary. ...  Again, my intent in all this is to reach as many as I can while there's still time. .. Hopefully it will answer some of the basic questions many of you may have ... that it will be another vehicle which will give more clarity as as to just how all this craziness in the world today relates to the Holy Scriptures. .. In mid-2015 (July-August), I wrote a 6-part series (Living on Borrowed Time, parts 1-6) illustrating what I believe are the basic  categories of signs .. *Israel - July 16 ..    *The Signs of Nature - July 22 ..    *The Signs of Society - July 29 ..    *The Spiritual Signs - August 3 ..    *The Signs of World Politics - August 8 ..    *The Signs of Technology - August 16 .. You will find that every headline relating to Bible Prophecy will fall into at least one of these categories. .. I'm not going to separate the headlines as to each specific category for the sake of expedience. .. People today are in a hurry (Daniel 12:4, by the way) so I want to be brief & direct. .. You will also notice that I'm not going to rehearse any of it because I just want it to be natural & to the point. .. Besides, it's free & I don't want your money! ... I know we live in fearful & uncertain times, but I promise you this .. if you take the time to follow this prophetic overview,  you will see just how & why all this worldwide chaos is taking place, and you will begin to find a peace that you've never experienced before in your lifetime. .. Simply, it will help clarify as to WHY the world is experiencing all this upheaval. ... God is real and so, too, is His spoken Word! .. Just take the time & prove it for yourself. ..
