*Fox News -""School says "Jesus" shirt is hate speech"

Now how could anyone think that Jesus would be associated with anything related to "hate".  I thought that was the other guys! .....  Sadly, no one is reading their Bibles to know this. I guess because our teachings disagree with some 'modern' ways of life, we are considered "haters" ... and nothing could be further from the truth!

*The Beacon - "We are preparing for massive civil war"

This story is supposedly from a DHS (Department of Homeland Security) informant. He goes on to say that the economy is expected to collapse causing mass civil unrest.   ...... If we stop and think about it for a minute, this guy is probably right! ... . .... Think about what it would be like for a moment ... store shelves empty within hours ... starvation .... no medical facilities ... no fuel for our vehicles ... no fresh water ... roving bands of thieves ... Its really scary just thinking about it.  .... None of us know for sure just when Jesus is coming back.  We know that deteriorating worldly conditions are going to continue to accelerate as we draw ever closer to that day ... and how far America will fall?    hhmmmmmmmmmm ............ 

*The Extinction Protocol - "Swarm of Earthquakes rippling through Western Turkey" 

A massive swarm of quakes continues ...... According to experts, this is a very unusual event, given the number and location ............

*MSNBC - "The surprising threat from Mexico's awakened Volcano"

North America's 2nd tallest volcano recently came to life.  This massive volcano (Popocatepetl) rarely comes active and has the power to "wreak havoc" over a wide area .............

*Reuters - Gloom builds for Euro Zone, U.N. states"

Hopes of recovery were short-lived as new reports indicate dangerous trends (record unemployment, slower than expected growth, etc.) ..... and with the recent election results in France, Greece and Italy, the sharp veer to the political left doesn't bode well for future prospects.  The candidates just elected all seem to be against the austerity measures recently agreed to by the EU governing body.  This, then, will mean that no bail-outs will be forthcoming and this will lead to at least several national defaults, which in turn will wreak havoc on the world markets. ... I know it's only a matter of time before somebody realizes that the world is broke, but where do these newly elected people think the money's coming from?  ... HELLO!!! ....... THERE ISN'T ANY!!!!

All I can say is, we are to watch the Nation of Israel with great interest!  ... And with this situation now taking place, could this be the beginning of the Gog - Magog war as Joel mentioned?  When studying Ezekiel 38 - 39, we sure see all the players lining up!!! 

*LA Times - "Space weather expert has ominous forecast" 

(Excerpt from article) - A stream of highly charged particles from the sun is headed straight toward the Earth, threatening to plunge cities around the world into darkness and bring the global economy screeching to a halt.  This isn't out of some Hollywood movie script, but the real deal.  

All I can say is ....... Luke 21:11 says, "There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs fro heaven."  Also, Luke 21:25 states, "There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars."  ... Think what you may ...............

*Bloomberg - "Asia stocks post biggest drop in 6 months as Euro weakens"

Once again, we see this part of the world dominating the headlines ... and besides Israel, this is the other area you want to keep you 'prophetic eye' upon.  As I've said several times before, I believe the coming one-world ruler will rise out of this group of nations ... and I personally believe this coming leader is alive today! (See Daniel 9:26-27) Once the chaos reaches epidemic proportions, this 'savior' of all mankind will appear on the world scene and claim to have all the answers to solve the global mess.  This, of course, is none other than the antichrist - the rider of the white horse in Revelation 6:1-2.

*OTUS News - "Vice President absolutely comfortable with men marrying men, women marrying women"

This is not surprising ... and very interesting in its timing, since President Obama just came out in support of gay marriage.  I find it so tragic that our country and its leaders have come to this state of mind.  Rest assured, unless America were abruptly to change moral direction ( and I don't see that happening), we are coming under the wrath, and ultimately, the judgement of God.  ...... Don't hold your breath!!!!

*CBS News - "Peru Coast littered with dead birds, dolphins"

We've seen this story now for several weeks with no let-up in sight .......... What do you think?

And I thought it was over ......  but seriously folks, Europe is dealing with a severely potent 'brew' ... financial insolvency, economic fragility, Political instability, increasing civil unrest ....... Here's an interesting fact - In less than two years, we've seen seven Euro Leaders forced out of office .... That's NO small number.....

*King World News - "The E.U. Titanic has now hit the iceberg - There will be an attempt to install a dictatorship in Eurozone"

Seems like every day we see this same ugly story rearing its head.  Guess we might should take it seriously ........... For details on this 'dictatorship', refer back to the May 6 "Bloomberg" article.

*Yahoo.News - "Obama Gay Marriage support seen as World Precedent"

The article goes on to say that the president's stance boosted hopes of 'gay rights groups' around the world.  Several countries, including Canada, Spain and Argentina, allow same-sex marriage, but far more do not.  The president's new stance on the issue may inspire more change. .... Isn't that nice!!! ... Another 'feather in the cap' of a nation already speeding towards ultimate destruction.  To stop and think how blessed we are, and have been ... how tragic!!!

*World Tribune - "Israel-Egypt peace agreement is dead"

How shocking!!!  I'm surprised it lasted this long ... only God's will and timing allowed this treaty in the first place ... but now it's time ..............

Arab-world news outlets were abuzz Wednesday because of the newly-formed coalition government in Israel.  Many fear that this will lead to a declaration of war in the very near future.  ... Once again, is this the beginning of the prophecied Ezekiel War spoken of in chapters 38 & 39 of his book? ... Only time will tell but I wouldn't be a bit surprised ... This war must take place before the final battle of Armageddon ... which  I believe isn't that far off. ... We will watch this with great 'prophetic' interest!!!

Well, that's it for this week.  Please note that I always will list events such as Earthquakes, Volcanoes, and pestilences of various types because they do relate to end-time prophecy.  While I know that these things have always happened in the past, remember that they have QUADRUPLED in the past 25 years! ... As Jesus said in Matthew 24:6-8, these events would be like "birth pains" in these last days ... meaning they would increase in frequency as well as intensity as we draw near to His triumphant return.
