..... This is the same one ... named Ison ... that was first mentioned last week.  That particular article said this newly discovered, very large comet, could represent a serious problem ... possibly even colliding with our sun ... We'll need to keep an eye on this one ...

*LifeSite News - "Megachurch Pastor Joel Osteen dodges CNN questions on homosexuality"

... Figures! ... When directly confronted with the issue, Osteen said this ... "Well, I don't necessarily focus on that." ... He went on to say,  "I think part of my ... if you want to call it success ... I've stayed in my lane and my lane is lifting people's spirits and there are issues that good, Bible-believing people see on both sides of the fence."  .... Now this is a classic example of the 'seeker-friendly' condition that has, and is evolving in our churches today ... and sadly, people flock to these kinds of places, primarily because they can continue to live the way they want, and the consequences of sinful lifestyles are NEVER mentioned. ..... How tragic!!! .. The Bible is very specific about the consequences of sinful lifestyles. ... Let us go to Scripture and see what it teaches about this type of thing ... 2 Timothy 4:3-4 says,  "For a time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine.  Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4) They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths."  ... Pretty much sums up the 'seeker-friendly' approach to the teachings of God's word.

..... just a brief matter of time before this country implodes ... and then the dominos begin to fall ..

It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.... Remember that modern-day Iran is the Biblical Persia .. Example:  Ezekiel 38 .....

Technology marches onward, as does the reality of the "Mark of the Beast" spoken of in Revelation 13 ............

This is one to watch. ...... Whether we agree or not is NOT the issue here ... What to watch is how 'Big Brother' responds, because this directly challenges the IRS (government) ban on 'naming names' from the pulpit ... Guess this is what happens when we, the Church, sign any agreements with the secular world.  ... Also, this is just another classic example of the inequities of the 'separation of Church and state' .....  I will forever hold to the fact that you CANNOT separate God from anything ... and then expect it to work ........... This is simply why our once-blessed nation is crumbling before our very eyes ....

*Joel Rosenberg - "16 Trillion national debt poses grave danger to U.S. economy, but was rarely discussed in the Denver presidential debate"

.... No kidding!  ... No policies from either side will amount to 'a hill of beans' when we go belly-up ...

Once again, that wraps up another week of Prophecy News Highlights ..... Besides the normal pestilences & general chaos, the ones that caught my attention this particular week were:

   - The "Classic Cope-out" of Joel Osteen ...
   - The 1500 Preachers going up against 'Big Brother' ...  and ...
   - The middle east as it rushes ever closer to the 'Ezekiel War' prophecy of Ezekiel 38 & 39 ...

... And, of course, we cannot overlook 'Nomophobia' .... It's too bad people don't suffer from 'NoGodophobia' ... Living without a cell phone can be devastating, I'm sure ... but living without God will have 'eternal' consequences ... OH well, I guess most of them will think I suffer from 'religeousnutcaseophobia'  ....................................................... Does it ever end? ...................
