OK ... The title is a bit of a stretch ... but hey, there's a lot of buzz about this new ID/tracking device in the form of a tattoo. ... Supposedly, it is to be used for medical purposes such as tracking the body's vital signs as well as a patient's complete medical records. .... There's even talk that this same tattoo can be used to replace all internet and banking passwords ... just show the tattoo and all your problems are solved!
Maybe all the paranoia over this thing is because of all the scandals concerning the monitoring of personal information by the government as of late. ... Let's face it! ... There's been plenty of stuff coming out concerning the status of our personal privacy lately ... The NSA (National Security Agency, which should be re-named The National Surveillance Agency) ... The IRS ... youname it ... pretty much all of them are involved in some way of tracking everything and everyone.
There was a story this morning reported in the "National Post" which said this ... "Americans starting to realize their paranoid fantasies about government surveillance have come true." ........ but what they don't realize is that all this emerging technology enabling this level of surveillance ... is soon going to present to them an 'eternal danger' ... It is none other than the fatal 'mark' ...
What am I talking about? ... Simply, the soon-coming "Mark of the Beast" spoken of in Revelation 13, verses 16-17, which says, "He (the false prophet) also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast and the number ofhis name."
Back to the tattoo for a moment, there are actual pictures showing it on foreheads and the back of wrists! ... supposedly, it ismeant to be only a temporary fixture, but ........
Just a few years back, this kind of thing seemed so far-fetched ... a fantasy only possible in a science fiction movie ... Todayhowever, there's new stuff coming out on an almost daily basis with the capability of fulfilling this prophecy ..... things like iris-scanning, chip implants ... the list goes on and on ...
Just under four years ago, I wrote the following comments in an article .... "Here in America, the current administration's desire to control the internet proves there are plans for a new bureaucracy on the drawing board for an ever-bigger government. ... It's only a matter of time --- a very short time --- until such a bureaucracy will be constructed globally. ... It is just such an endeavor from which the "666" mark and numbering system of Revelation 13:15-18 will ultimately emerge."
Wow! ... Am I sharp, or what? ..... But seriously, we have moved into the age of ultra-surveillance of all kinds ... in fact, all the 'machines' ... the I-pads ... I-pods ... smart phones ... have become such a 'normal' way of life that I'm afraid most will fail to tell the difference between what is harmful, or helpful as it continues to evolve at an ever-increasing pace. ...
... Something that scares me tons? ... The younger generation are so used to putting everything about themselves out there ... most likely, they won't even realize they are 'aiding & abetting' the enemy ... and that enemy is the coming world government and its leader, the anti-christ. ...
What scares me more is the lack of Bible knowledge concerning these coming events and how it will affect people's 'eternal destiny.' .... What I mean is this .... When our governments start requiring some sort of mark to function in society ... things like buying food or obtaining medications ... most folks will do whatever is asked of them ... It will be like getting a new debit or credit card .... after all, we've been doing that for years now ... But the difference this time is monumental! ... The Bible specifically states that whoever receives this "Mark of the Beast" will be doomed for eternity! ... There will be no turning back (see Revelation 14:11) ....
Is this dastardly tattoo the one? ... or is it just another of the precursors leading up to the final one? ... Most likely the latter is true ... but whatever, soon we will see this final "Mark of the Beast" burst upon the scene. .... and then what?
Many Bible prophecy 'watchers' believe that we, the Church, will not face this decision because the Church will be Raptured (taken to Heaven) before this 'mark' will be required. ... I'm not so sure ..... This technology may be required to function beforethis glorious event takes place.
Either way, what we must do as 'informed' Christians is to tell as many as we can to NEVER receive any kind of mark or implant on either our right hands or foreheads. .... Sadly, anyone who does receive this mark, innocently or not, will be doomed! ... There will be NO excuse!
