It’s hard to believe, but this week we celebrate one full year of service for “Light in the Darkness” ministries. - I truly want to thank each and every one who has blessed us with your time and patience in the ongoing development of this website.
I must admit that its been difficult and lonely at times. - Like most new ministries, it takes time -- and of course, the enemy would like nothing better than to see us give up. -- I take this opposition as a good sign because the enemy doesn’t bother with something that’s not affecting his ways. -- Joyfully, we are now beginning to see real signs of growth as we are receiving more ‘hits’ on the site. In addition, two separate churches have added us to their resource links on their websites. Praise the Lord as He has been faithful. - He always is!
Briefly, reviewing the purpose of this effort,
2 Timothy 1:7 says -
“ For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of sound mind.” (NKJV)
Fear comes from the lack of understanding. As a watchman of God’s prophetic word, it is my hope and prayer that this ministry will help prepare people and give them the tools needed to endure the coming harsh times. - This knowledge gained will not only eliminate the fear in your hearts, but will also equip you with the power of the Holy Spirit to combat the enemy on a daily basis. -- It will also make sure that your love does not grow cold as it will with many because of the wicked worldly conditions that surround us. -- Please pray that this will be accomplished. Remember Matthew 24:12 states;
“Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.”
Going forward into our 2nd year, it is our hope that this ministry will continue to grow and will have a positive impact on those who share with us. -- In fact, here’s just a few things you could pray for concerning our work:
◆ That we will continue to reach more of those who are walking in darkness and fear.
◆ That we will continue to address the issues that will most help those who are seeking -- for wisdom and discernment.
◆ That this ministry continues to stand its ground as a witness for those who are struggling spiritually.
◆ That this ministry will help people to build up their faith and spiritual strength to face the coming difficult times Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21.
◆ That people will stop, look and listen to those of us who study and then present God’s prophecies so that they will be better prepared to deal with today’s turbulent world.
In closing, it is our prayer that Light in the Darkness ministry will bless you in some way to help you in your walk with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. -- In fact, if you find these teachings helpful, it would be much appreciated if you would pass it on to your friends and family either through an e-mail blast or word of mouth. -- Any assistance would be much appreciated.
Also, if you should have any thoughts or comments, please pass them on to us. It would be of great benefit and would promote more effective teaching if we know what your thoughts and questions are. - I would love to address any and all inquiries you may have.
Finally, Jude 22-23 states -
“Be merciful to those who doubt: snatch others from the fire and save them...”
If just one person is blessed because of the efforts of this ministry, then every minute and hour spent was all worth it. - Praise the Lord!
Until next time,
Red
