'Political correctness = one of the ominous signs of a society plunging into the abyss' ... The Dictionary - 'Red' Mark Edition ... So why do I say this? ... If one has any inkling of the truth of God's Holy Scriptures, or even just an honest sense of what is right and what isn't, they would have to admit that what is taking place in our nation is wrong, and if it continues, will lead us into increasing societal chaos and ultimate destruction. So where has the courage of speaking the truth gone? ... Why have those who 'know' shied away from speaking out? ... Simply, the vast majority has succumbed to the lies of 'political correctness.' ...   As an example, let's just glance back some 60+ years .. a time when we began to lose our sense of morality. ... It was the era of 'free love' - 'flower power' .. 'make love, not war' - 'down with the pigs' ... Believe me, I know! ... I was at the height of my rock music career in Southern California at the time. ... Since that time, we have witnessed the continual 'removal' of our Great God and His influence in our society. .. Because of that, sin such as the aborting of human life from the womb, the 'gay' revolution, and much more has come to be acceptable practices. .. Even things like 'communism is not so bad' .. Che Guevarra & Fidel Castro were hailed as heros when in fact, they were brutal murderers. .. Even Hollywood, which has an amazing influence on our way of life, sold out to the emerging evil lifestyles. .. So now instead of 'Ozzie & Harriette,' we have 'Jersey Shore!' Before I go any farther, I want to share a quote from then Prime Minister John Howard of Australia. .. This was from 2007 ..."Immigrants, not Australians, must adapt. Take it or leave it. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks in Bali, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians. "However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the 'politically correct' crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others. I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to Australia. However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand. The idea of Australia being a multi-cultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. And as Australians, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language, and our own lifestyle. This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom. We speak mainly English, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language. "Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right-wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God IS part of our culture. We will accept your beliefs, and will not question that. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us. "If the Southern Cross offends you, or what it stands for troubles you, then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from . By all means, keep your culture, but do not force it on others. "This is our country, our land, and our lifestyle, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about our Flag, our Pledge, our Christian beliefs, or our way of life, I highly encourage you to take advantage of one other great Australian freedom ... the 'Right To Leave.' " Wow! .. Don't we wish we had some leaders with this kind of straight-forward courage! .. Briefly, I can think of only one that does, and that is 'Bibi' Netanyahu from Israel. ... I do know one thing .. America wouldn't be nearly as far gone if we had someone like him leading us. ... OK .. What I want to do now is apply this same 'truth principal' to our churches of today. .. What do we see happening all around the 'crystal cathedrals?' .. With few exceptions, we see compromise and a complete 'selling out' of the truths of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! .. Simply, Satan has hobbled the churches with deceptive bibles leaving pastors doubting the Word of God and the people in confusion. .. Using that doubt, the Devil has convinced us that hell may not be so bad, that homosexuality is not a sin, that decadent music and entertainment is just fine, that marriage vows don't really mean what they say, and that whoever dies with the most 'toys' wins. ... A number of years back, in my own personal quest for the truth, I journeyed into a 'red-letter' study of just the teachings of Jesus Christ - and nothing else. ... After some three years, when I came out on the 'other side,' I had learned clearly that worldly fame, popularity and earthly wealth meant absolutely nothing to the true servants of God. .. On the contrary, being truthful and unbending meant rejection and persecution. .. Jesus Himself said this would be the case. .. "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you." (John 15:18-19 - NIV) Is this the case with most of our Christian leaders today? .. Absolutely not! .. They're more concerned with telling us how to give them our money so WE can become rich .. or .. not to worry about your lifestyle because 'Hell' is a thing of the past! ... Simply, most of our churches today are no more than 'clerical caskets' .. cold, dead, and buried in complacency. ... If we look around at the condition of the vast majority of our churches today, most are focused on worldly things like money, buildings, numbers regardless of what it takes to get them ... mostly avoiding the truth of certain scripture so as not to offend anyone. .. When the truth of the reality of hell, or the consequences of a sinful lifestyle are mentioned, many folks call it 'judgement, or judgement preaching .. and simply, this is NOT a popular concept in today's world. But consider this .. Samuel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Jonah, Paul, and Jesus Christ Himself all preached judgement in their messages. .. Should we today do any less? .. Did someone say that because we have 'evolved' as a society, it's OK to change some things. ... Never forget this! ... Mankind changes, but God NEVER changes! ... Paul clearly warned us of these coming false teachers in his second letter to Timothy. .. "For a time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths." (2 Timothy 4:3-4 - NIV) .. So now, I will encourage you .. exhort you .. to first look at your own walk. .. and then, look closely at the leaders of your current fellowship. .. Are they teaching ALL of the Bible? .. Are they telling their flock that the ways of the world will only lead them to eternal hell? .. If yes, fantastic! .. But if not, you must approach them and question them .. to hold them accountable for their actions .. and if that doesn't change anything, then run as fast as you can to somewhere that is 'teaching it all.' ...... I know this may be offending some of you, but I'm willing to take that chance. .. Oh, and by the way, I don't have a church to fill up and I don't want your money. .. My only desire is for you to hear the truth and at least consider it. ... Your eternal life depends on it! Know most of all that I love you all and am praying for you constantly .. and please .. pray for me as well. ... We all need each other, especially as this world churns toward the final judgement. ... But, praise God, we also know that these difficult days will not last much longer. ... Hallelujah! ...
