The debate rages! .... Is true Islam a religion of peace, or not? ... Of course, the Paris terrorist attack this past weekend has brought this debate to a raging head once again. ... In our own country, it would seem that our President as well as the vast majority of the political left, supports that what happened in France was not the true & peaceful Islam that the majority of Muslims practice, but simply an isolated act and a temporary setback. .. But when one looks deeper into the actual truth of which position is true, I find it simply amazing to listen to the rhetoric of denial concerning the opposite. ... I certainly could give my opinion along with everyone one else, but it would most likely serve only to advance another opinion without any factual support. ... Sooooo, let's dispense with all the 'words of war' and fall back to something that seems to be a rare commodity in today's world ... facts! ... Let me start with some teachings from their Holy Koran (Quran) - the Islamic equivalent of the Bible, and some of their current organizations ... "Fight and slay the pagans wherever you find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem." (Surah 9:5) "The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the hereafter." (Surah 5:33) "He it is who has sent His Messenger (Mohammed) with guidance and the religion of truth (islam) to make it victorious over all religions even though the infidels may resist." (Koran 61:9) "Do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends." (Koran 5:51) Also, some of their leaders' comments ... "Killing Jews is worship that draws us close to Allah." (Hamas leader) "The purest joy in Islam is to kill and to be killed for Allah." (Ayatollah Khomeni) "Who relinquishes his faith, kill him. I have been ordered by Allah to fight with people till they testify there is no God but Allah, and Mohammed is His Messenger." (Mohammed - the founder of Islam) There is much more I could share here concerning their militant theology, but this gives us an actual picture of their true teachings as well as their current leadership thinking... So, it would seem that true Islam is based on violence and physical supremacy in which war becomes an act of faith. .. To believe in Islam is to have faith that it will conquer the whole world. .. And to be a true Muslim is to feel called to aid in that global conquest. .. The fulfillment of Islam depends on the submission of non-Muslims so that violence against non-Muslims becomes the essence of religion. .. To sum it up, physical dominance of Islam is the basis of fulfillment of their faith .. anything less is blasphemy! ... The bottom line would seem to be that Islamic terrorists are NOT fanatics, but devout followers of Mohammed, and are following His example and doing what their Islamic Quran teaches them to do. .. And we must be aware of this ... Islam teaches that Mohammed superceded the Patriarchs and Jesus Christ. .. The word Islam does not mean peace - it means submission. ... OK ... I want to sum up with these thoughts concerning our country - America - and how Islam fits in to the basic tenants of our society. .... I start with a comment from Franklin Graham ... "True Islam cannot be practiced in this country. You can't beat your wife. You cannot murder your children if you think they've committed adultery or something like that, which they do practice in these other countries. I don't agree with the teachings, and I find it to be a very violent religion." ...... The following article has been circulating on the internet for quite some time, and I'm not sure of the original source, but it kind of sums it up quite clearly. ... It is called .. 'Can Muslims Be Good Americans?' ... This question was forwarded to a friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years. The following is his reply ...               "Can a Muslim be a good American?" ... *Theologically - No ... Because his allegiance is to Allah, the Moon God of Arabia ... *Religiously - No ... Because no other religion is accepted by his Allah except Islam (Quran 2:256 - Koran) *Scripturally - No ... Because his allegiance is to the Five Pillars of Islam and the Quran ... *Geographically - No ... Because his allegiance is to Mecca, to which he turns in prayer five times a day ... *Socially - No ... Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews ... *Politically - No ... Because he must submit to the Mullahs (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America, the Great Satan ... *Domestically - No ... Because he is instructed to marry four women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34) ... *Intellectually - No ... Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt ... *Philosophically - No ... Because Islam, Mohammed, and the Quran does not allow freedom of religion and expression ... *Spiritually - No ... Because when we declare 'One Nation Under God,' the Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as Heavenly Father, nor is he ever called love in the Quran's 99 Excellent Names ... I'll close with this statement by Winston Churchill ... "The religion of Islam above all others was founded upon the sword. Moreover, it provides incentives to slaughter, and in three continents has produced fighting breeds of men - filled with a wild and merciless fanaticism." ..... I would think that after looking at the overflow of evidence, it is apparent that Islam is a religion of violence and total control. ... Any other position would appear to be extremely difficult to defend. ....... But we must remember that those of us who serve the one and only Savior, Jesus Christ .. we must remember that we ARE a religion of love and peace - and that we must love and pray for those of other beliefs to come to the ultimate truth. ... Salvation and eternal glory lies in ONLY ONE source ... JESUS CHRIST! ....Hallelujah! ...
